Anthony Garcia is a songwriter, guitarist, and classically trained pianist based in Austin, Texas.
Garcia's style is cinematic Americana, a genre that interweaves songwriting with expanding, quasi-orchestral sections.
Versatile is the best word to describe his live performance. Garcia moves between rock, blues, classical piano, Spanish guitar, soulful vocals and old standards, sometimes changing instruments within a single song.
His music draws on the guitar tradition of Zeppelin and Hendrix, the songwriting of Townes Van Zandt and Leonard Cohen, and the haunting influence of J.S. Bach.
